Abstract:The investigation of the effects of ferulic acid (FA) on some physiologica indexs of condonopsis pilosula, and the alleviation of such effects by attapulgite that presented in the growth medium with different volume ratio. The results showed that can inhibit the activity of seeds. And, higher concentrations of FA, which was applied to the growth medium before cultivation, can decrease the biomass and photochemistry reaction of the seedlings. During the growth period of seedlings, short-term treatment with higher concentrations of FA can also significantly decrease the photochemistry reaction of the seeding. The attapuligate that presented in the growth medium with different volume ratio can effectively alleviate these adverse effects of FA on c. pilosula. And, the volume ratio of attapuligate: medium at 1/50 is most obvious. These results indicate that the addition of attapulgite in the growth with appropriate ratio can alleviate the physiological stress of FA that emerges at different stage during plant growth.
